Why are rainforests important?

Why are rainforests important

Rainforests are important because the trees provide us oxygen. They are important because the oxygen is what we breathe in. If people continue to deforestate and log for the use of paper, firewood funrniture ect there will be more cabon dioxide in the air than oxygen which will cause global warming and us as humans will not survive because of the amount of carbon dioxide in the air. They are also important because hold 1/3 of the animal and plant population. More animals will become extinct because they will not have a home since people have been cutting down trees.
